Negotiated revised Benefits for members in excess of $5.1 Billion for the period
1998 – 2004. -
Negotiated a 15% Increase for Public Officers and other members for the period 2002 – 2004 which set the National Benchmark for all workers.

Negotiated a Group Health Plan for Public Officers in April 2004.

Opened two (2) Sub Officers in Arima and Chaguanas in February, 2004.

Registered a Company called “The PSA’s Management Services Company
Limited (PSAMASCOL)” in December, 2003. -
Registered a Sports & Cultural Foundation in 2004.

Trained over 500 Sections/Regional/ Staff sides and Representatives through our graduated 5 Days and Two Days Training Programmes.

Initiated a review of the PSA Constitution as a part of the Modernization of the Association’s Operations.

Introduced a PSA Membership and Public Information Radio Programme titled
“PSA Perspective” every Tuesday and Thursday on I 95.FM after the 6p.m. News. -
Enhanced Social, Sporting and Cultural agenda through Boat Cruises, Children Christmas Parties, Calypso Competitions and HIV/AIDS 10k Races.

Reintroduced the Annual Miss PSA Queen Pageant – Now a premiere event in the Public Sector.

Commissioned the Writing of the History of the Public Services Association.

Named the PSA Headquarters “The James I.A. Manswell Building.”
